Part facilitator, part performing artist. I work the whole gathering, sparking real connection through play and catching what matters before it evaporates.
Production is excellent and the curation is sharp. But networking is often the same small-talk loop, and the harvest is either missing or dull. An AI summary nobody reads. A WhatsApp group full of self-promotion.
This is not a production problem. It's a missing role.
Here's what I do:
Playful activation
Games and prompts instead of small talk. People step out of their roles and show up as themselves, with lightness and a sense of wonder. Play makes people more open and creative. Authentic people belong and create better together.
Creative harvesting
Guests distil the essence of their experience into cards made with their own hands. What you make, you remember. Cards serve as building blocks of collective sense-making and go home with them keeping the insights alive for months.
Live hosting
Meaningful interactions throughout the event give me a unique insight into how the gathering is really going. I bring people in, support the ones on the edge, and catalyse connections that bring the most value towards your design objectives.

Opening
Gentle activation and playful icebreaking. Guests meet the Wizard and arrive into the event. The tone set on day one shapes how people show up all week.
Middle
Group sessions, one-to-one moments and card-making, woven into the gaps of your programme. Ideas from the stage turn into conversations and real connections. All of it steered towards the outcomes you're designing for.
Close
The harvest. Guests distil the key insights into cards they take home – integration, happening in real time.
That's how a lovely week becomes a meaningful one.
Your event gets its own deck
Every session produces a card. By the end you have a collection: the insights, decisions and turning points of your gathering, in your guests' own handwriting. A harvest of what actually happened.
Your guests spread the word
Every card is made by hand, by someone who was there, and it photographs beautifully. That's real content from real people, and word of mouth you didn't have to ask for.
The peaks actually land
Integration usually happens after. The Wizard is there while the event is still live, so the big moments become something people act on right now rather than something that fades away.
The quiet ones connect too
Most networking rewards whoever is already good at it. You don't have to work the room to make a card, and once it's in your hand it does the introducing for you.
A character your guests remember
Guests seek out the Wizard, bring their friends, and talk about the interaction afterwards.
"I booked the Wizard to facilitate the opening and closing ceremony of a 110-person music festival. I felt that I was in safe hands. Some people have solidity and reliability, some people have creative off-the-wall spontaneous magic, and Michał has both."
James KingOrganiser, Harmonia Festival
"Michał brings play, wonder and curiosity to draw out the collective intelligence of a gathering in a way that is absolutely unique. If you're looking to draw out people's creativity, he's the wizard you've been waiting for."
Lucian TarnowskiFounding Curator, United Planet & UP Game · Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum
"My favourite moments of the UP Game were the total solar eclipse at sunset, the entire Water Day and the Wizard with the magic he brought into the experience. These were pure awe moments for me. I completely lost my sense of time. I was fully in it. Fully alive."
Natali ArazFounder, Health is Wealth
"Michał opened my mind and senses to the world of cards: a never-ending exploration in connection with others and yourself. Beyond a simple game, it's a way to make magic happen in the world almost out of nothing."

I'm a performance artist and facilitator. I've been in theatre since I was one year old and facilitating since I was eighteen – that's two decades of building participatory formats.
I've built communities online and offline and written three books on community and participation.
Cards are my favourite medium. For over a thousand years, they've brought people together to play and make sense of the world.
Now I bring all of it to gatherings where people are building something beautiful.
We start with a conversation about your programme and what you want people to leave with. I get back to you with a proposal.
During the event I bring everything I need. What I need from you is usually a very short space in the beginning to introduce the role and a short space at the end to activate the harvest. The rest happens in between the program.
This is the best fit for gatherings spanning multiple days. Shorter events can work as well. Let's talk and I'll tell you if it's not a fit.
What magic will emerge from your gathering?
Tell me what you're planning and let's find out.
